Initial Consultation
Our first step is a detailed consultation to address obedience issues, unruly behavior, or general challenges with your dog. This session is ideal for concerns around basic control. If your dog struggles with fear or aggression, we’ll start with a Behavior Modification session to set a strong foundation.

1-2-1 Training

If your dog needs help with a specific behavioral issue or you’re simply interested in fun obedience training, 1-2-1 sessions with the Essex Dog Trainer can be an excellent choice.

Each dog’s path toward improved behavior and manageability considers their unique personality. Our highly skilled team works individually with each dog to create positive change while respecting their individuality and needs.

Many owners prefer private dog training sessions with us, and in some cases, we recommend this approach after an initial assessment. For some dogs, especially those needing focused attention, one-on-one sessions can offer the ideal support for a successful training experience.

Puppy Training (8–16 Weeks)
Early training is crucial for a well-adjusted dog! My Puppy Training Intro makes sure you don’t miss any critical stages. We cover skills such as name recognition, crate and potty training, socialization, aggression prevention, and more. Set your puppy up for success with a solid foundation that fosters obedience and prevents problem behaviors.

Group Training Classes
If you prefer a group setting, I offer classes in Basic and Advanced Obedience, Loose Leash Walking, Reactivity Management, Puppy Socialization, and more. Each class includes educational materials and a clear breakdown of what was covered. Contact us to learn about upcoming class schedules!

Behavior Modification for Reactive and Aggressive Dogs
This in-depth session combines evaluation and training for dogs facing challenges like fear, aggression, resource guarding, and more. My passion for working with dogs began in childhood. Over the years, I have raised and trained nine German Shepherds, six of whom were rescued from animal shelters. My training style has always been based on positive reinforcement, as I have a natural talent for connecting with dogs. I even used my pocket money to help stray dogs and cats with food and medicine. Despite being bitten several times, I never gave up on helping them because I understood that their aggression was often rooted in fear. Each encounter taught me valuable lessons about animals.

My love for animals was so strong that I dreamed of making it my career. I felt they needed me, and I wanted to be there for them. However, cultural expectations stood in my way. My parents were firmly against this path, continually pressuring me to see it as a hobby rather than a serious career. They encouraged me to focus on a “professional” career instead. So, I conformed to those expectations but never stopped helping animals whenever I could. Eventually, I reached a point in my career where I felt disconnected from myself—my life had become solely about numbers and targets, with no sense of fulfillment.

In 2022, I realized I needed a major change, and reconnecting with animals became the first step. Through Dobby, my dog, I found my way back to my true passion and began pursuing my dream once more.

I enrolled in a dog training program at the Animal Academy in Scheuerhof Wittlich-Bombogen, led by Dr. Viviane Theby. My goal is to specialize in working with aggressive dogs, focusing on their rehabilitation to improve their chances of adoption. With shelters overcrowded and only a few professionals in Germany offering this service, I am eager to fill this gap and make a meaningful difference.
